Jeffrey Vigness is an accomplished, freelance multi-instrumentalist and composer specializing in drums and
percussion, bass, and guitar. He holds a Master of Music Degree in Percussion Performance, and regularly plays a
very wide spectrum of musical styles, from classical and contemporary percussion to big-band swing, jazz and rock
in both live and studio recording settings. He has performed across the United States, United Kingdom, Central
Europe, the Caribbean, and Mexico.  Jeff also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Theory and Composition, and
has had his music performed here in the U.S. as well as the Czech Republic.  Most recently, he contributed several
tracks to
Floor Tracks, Volume 2 and Teretone Music Libraries.   In addition to an active freelance schedule, Jeff
performs regularly with the Rochester Symphony Orchestra, Wild Honey and the Locusts, Jazz, etc., Sumo Seven
,
and The R.S.V.P
.    

As an educator, Jeff is an in-demand private instructor, with a studio of nearly 60 students studying drumset,
percussion, electric/double bass, guitar and music theory. He was selected as the percussion instructor for the 2003
Minnesota All-State Band Camp, and is a percussion coach for the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies.
